What item level is appropriate for +7?

I did them at like 610 but higher is always better for pugging and ilvl cant really carry you through them. I think they are doable even lower than that but, people are picky with that level and higher since every death takes 15s off the key.

+7 keys drop 610 at end-of-run. Often it’s reasonable to shoot for -6 ilvls when progressing into higher difficulties so 604 SHOULD be an acceptable ilvl to get into +7 keys (maybe even 598 if you’re very skilled with a group of friends/guildies).

However, if you’re PUGing, then the difficulty jump due to the timer penalty affix that starts at +7 is such a steep increase in failure-to-time that no PUG wants to take you regardless of ilvl unless you’ve already done a bunch of +7s already (or at least the specific +7 you’re applying to). It seems the devs really want you to have a fixed team or a guild or a community if you want to do +7s and higher; it’s very unfriendly to PUGs (this week’s episode of The Bench with Growl, Tettles, and Squishei pretty much said the same thing).

There really is no minimum ilvl. You go when you feel comfortable going to it. A tier 8 delves recommends over 600 ilvl and I completed it at 551 :man_shrugging:. Just depends really.
