Sitting here, waiting 92 years for my motherboard to get to me, while I have my new cpu. I upgraded my dinosaur so I could play high end games, and do things faster, etc…
Division 1 & 2 are my secondary games to this one. The story line is scary in that it could actually happen…this covid is pretty similar in ways. Anyways, I can’t play D2 until I get my mobo and slap the i7 9700f into it.
I have a sniper and support, I play evenly, and haven’t done much since my previous cpu died (i7 2600) four months ago. Most of my gear is leng. and epics. I did get the Nemesis, Pestilence, Sweet Dreams, and Merciless. I haven’t been on since the new content, tho.
I’m really starting to get into sandbox games where I just go in and build things to see if they work.
Some examples include but are not limited to:
Simplerockets (both 1 and 2)
Factorio
EVE Online (you can build ships and do experimental fittings to push the design limits)
Universe Sandbox
Powdertoy
I play WoW, XIV and City of Heroes. I’d probably drop XIV if WoW ever added player housing. While I love that game aesthetically, the endgame isn’t the most engaging. I mostly stick with it because I have a guild house and a personal house that I love redecorating all the time.
Man I’ll just admit it, one of my mates got me to play minecraft with him and I’d refused that trashy kids game for ages
Started having those time void moments where you’d look at a clock and work out you’d just spent 2 hours on a roof that you couldn’t get right
Also for the first time in a long time I experience anxiety in a game because I had enough coal to light up the sun but I’m stuck in a cave and can hear monsters about to roll up on me with 2hp
Yeah I know. It’s really a shame because the potential for sooo much easy content is there. All the art exists, they’d just need to add a system that lets us access an area to decorate and place things.
I’ll keep dreaming but I know it’ll probably never happen.
If I had to pick it’d be either Half-Life(the entire series) or Portal 2, but most likely Half-Life. That’s about it. Kind of wish I had more, but I’m extremely picky and judgmental when it comes to games & find most others to be utter garbage.
I wish I could keep enjoying XIV, but the endgame cycle gets so boring to me. I’m sure I’ll go back at some point because there’s gonna be a long content lull while we’re waiting for Shadowlands here.
I keep my account active to walk into my houses from time to time, but I’m enjoying my break from the game for now. I’ll go back at some point though I’m sure.
Edit: Just realizing how repetitive that is. I just woke up. I need more coffee.
None currently destiny 2 is boring so I quit that, Warframe too grind intensive to play on the side, ESO I had on PS4 but I got rid of it a while back tempted to get a new one though but yeah atm just waiting on a new secondary game too play
