Personally for me, it’s gotta be in Pandaria when I was raising my Cloud Serpent. I thought it was cute, I grew attached to my little baby noodle and I liked the daily chore of taking care of them.
Honestly, it filled me with more purpose than the rest of the entire Mists of Pandaria expansion ever did. What is your most favourite/memorable quest in World of Warcraft?
I’m going to try not to make this sound like a sensational answer, because it isn’t. There’s no agenda behind it. It’s true. It just so happened that my favorite quest (not by a mile, just overall my favorite) was in Blizzard’s line of fire when they started censoring things.
My favorite quest line was the one where you helped Maximilian of Northshire in Un’goro Crater. This culminated in my favorite quest “Damsels Were Made To Be Saved.”
It was fun, funny, easy but entertaining, and it happened in a zone I really enjoy.
Sadly, Blizzard changed the quest and all related dialog so that all Damsels or Maidens became “Town Dwellers.”
As you can imagine, this absolutely ruined the questline for me and I don’t quest in Un’goro at all anymore.
Ah yes, I remember this guy, though not before any censoring. I happened upon him accidentally some years ago when I had no choice but to go to Un’goro for a reason I can’t remember, because ultimately, I wasn’t over the moon about the place and avoided it.
I saw this strange guy just standing on his own and looking out of place. I didn’t know his purpose nor why he was even there. What little dialogue I could get from him was nothing short of amazing.
