I agree with Virus.
Here’s my take:
Start with a motorcycle, like a sport bike. Nice and sleek, doesn’t have a lot of extraneous mass to block NPCs or mailboxes unnecessarily. Make it a flying mount that sprouts rockets on take-off, with a small, powerful jet of flame out the back. When it hits the water, have it transform like, well, a Transformer into a mini-submersible that swaps out the rockets for a propeller on the back.
ETA: I don’t care if it costs 10 million, I’d save up for it.

My ideal mounts depends on the character I’m playing, but for more generic mounts I’ve always wanted something from StarCraft, like a Zergling, Ultralisk, or Mutalisk, or a Gnomish take on a Terran vehicle like the Vulture bike or Wraith fighter. A Draenei take on a Protoss Dragoon, Stalker, or Phoenix would be interesting as well.
Due to the crossover nature of these ideas, imo they would probably all belong in the Shop.
