Let’s face it. Plenty of people are making bank. If people can afford 150k or more per run / carry to get gear then they’re rich. So what I’d like to talk about is this:
How do you mine your gold? What makes your bank? What gives you the rich moolah that funds your WoW addictions? How do you turn into Scrooge McDuck and swim in piles of gold coins while the rest of Ducksburg is struggling?
TSM addon and application for me.
Though I imagine that a lot of people buying carries just pay for tokens in whatever fiat money their country uses.
I attempted to use TSM, didn’t understand it and then one day randomly started to try to delete items from my mailbox that I had mailed to myself for no reason. No clue what happened or why. I didn’t mess with the addon. It just said “to the maw with your mail”.

I make a big burst selling crafting materials at the start of the expansion and then just sit on it.
Ah the ol’ buy low and sell high and hope no one undercuts you by 500k making you flip tables.
I know purple enchanting gems sell for a bit, but how do you get those without farming keys 100+ years honestly. If you could get 100 purples to disenchant a week you could make bank, but how can you stomach farming for that many purples. x.x

Well I’m not anybody. I’m a nobody. So if you’d like to send this character an in-game letter on my server. I’d forever be grateful. 
Tokens. Still coasting on the gold I made in legion from the mission table but if it comes down to it it takes less time at work to earn the money to buy a token then how long it would take to farm the gold.
Yes farming is “free” but I hate it, so it’s cost is in a way higher.

I was reading that in anticipation of the good ol’ “have ta’ murder ya” disclaimer at the end. Although I guess if you murdered folks that does mean less potential customers!
I mean, I have done bounties in wPVP, and some very salty people pay a good penny.
I’m also shelling out a good penny for heads, but the people I put a target on stopped flagging.

In Sept last year I bought the Long Boi and cleared out my gold doing so. I was at 3k on this character. When I last checked earlier today I was at around 2.5 million. I make around 40k a day doing almost nothing but posting when I can remember to.

What do you mostly make?
A month of only farming at the start of each expansion. Then try for boe when a new raid comes out from the raid.
I don’t make a ton of gold, but I make enough to get by and buy a token now and again if something is in the blizzard shop I want. I just basically sell anything I don’t immediately need. Also, bribe bags for healers/tanks are a touch under 1k a pop plus augment runes which sell well.

I suppose. I just tend to compare myself to my SO who is sitting on about 10m because he totally scrooge mcducks that you know what.
