đŸ—ș | What is your favorite zone in classic?

Yes. Nostalgic. You didn’t say it, but I was going to say I first quested there late September and it sounds like you did as well. There was something about it being the correct time of year. Also, the music is the best. It’s called shimmering flats on iTunes.

Feralas was always my favorite.

Stranglethorn Vale. So much activity going on with Pve, Pvp, Ally/Horde questing, neutral questing, and a beautiful Jungle/Coastal scenery

I remember loving Ashenvale the first time through in Vanilla, but then I leveled a toon through there a couple years ago and wow that zone has aged badly.

Like a Thomas Kinkade painting done by Bob Ross on acid.

Winterspring - It really felt like the edge of the world, like a vanilla Northrend, very remote. Getting there for the first time can be a pain. There’s not much to do while there but it’s one of the max level zones people grinded to reach 60, it’s where I hit my first 60. It also had the ominous entrance to My Hyjal, one of the biggest “You’re not allowed here” gates. Later finding out how to get in was even more exciting.

Blackrock Mountain because I always thought the rock in the middle with the huge chains looked so cool. Being able to PvP there night and day doesn’t hurt.

The Isle of Dread.

Silverpine Forest and Duskwood are faves - I love spooky forested areas.

Duskwood’s quests are top notch, though. Some of the best story telling there especially with the original Stalvan quest line.

Duskwood. I never got tired of it.

Westfall. The music, yellowish ambiance and smell of loneliness. After all these green trees surrounded me in Elwynn, the eternal fields of oats made me feel so little. A little sun on my face, and a helping hand of a rhythmic drum, maybe there is no words in the world to describe how I once felt in Westfall.

Teldrassil/Ashenvale. NE lands are magical.

Duskwood for leveling.

Felwood for ambiance.

But my “home” in Azeroth before they completely destroyed it was Loch Modan.

Probably Tirisfal Glades. I just love the atmosphere. Forsaken are amazing. Yet oddly enough I didn’t care for Silverpine.

So many zones I loved, but to pick one I’d say Thousand Needles (which included the salt flats).

Oh yeah, I remember the salt flats. It was interesting and kinda goofy with the speedway.

I would give the new replies likes but I ran out of likes TwT

So here is a :blue_heart: Emoji for the posts I cannot like lol

Dun Morogh is definitely my fav starting zone, possibly also my fav Vanilla zone. The weather effects really added to it as well.
