Mine would be concept art for fictional worlds. Like those of video games, television, movies, and even books.
I also like scenic art where the painter does some impression of real life natural scenery.
I like digital, 3D, and even traditional 2D art. Art that is meant to evoke our primal curiosity of natural art. I do marvel at sculpting (no pun intended). I think it’s crazy how many hours a man can do to chisel a block of granite into a figure.
For cultural tastes, I do like East Asian and Pre-Columbian artwork for they show how the human figure is made without realistic European art.
What are yours?
Paul Klee is one of my favorites
I love concept art of monsters. The stuff that goes through multiple designs / sketches before they make a tiny model of it and start actual work on making either the practical effects or digital / 2D animation
Sure the finished monster tends to look rad but there’s just something about those sketches and scribbles in the pre development stage.
Like the sketches Stan Winston made of the Predator. I forget who was next to him but they said they never saw anything with mandibles monster wise. So he made a little note of that and started scribbling. ( For those that don’t know. The original design of the Yautja looked kinda more like a mosquito on legs. It wasn’t working when they were trying to film so in comes Stan Winston to save the movie )

Ah it was James Cameron that said the mandible thing.

I’m not a huge fan of paintings and drawings. The more real something looks, the more I like it. I would rather buy a nice photo over a nice painting.
Also, I’m a fan of landscapes and space over buildings, people or animals.
