Excluding capital cities and major expansion hubs like Valdrakken, what is your favorite town/village in WoW? Just curious what kind of stuff resonates with people.

I prefer cities that feel like they would actually be functional, so Boralus would be my answer…but since we are excluding capitol cities, I would probably pick Corlain or Fallhaven in Drustvar.
Of course, mechagon city will always have an honorable mention. To bad we didn’t get to experience it as a real city.

Uptown Buroughs near Boralus Harbor.
I’m really fond of Kharanos for the nostalgia. Then Thelsmar is a second fave because the houses feel like hobbit houses in the hills. My first character was a dwarf mage in beta but when mage didn’t launch I went hunter.
I still love taking a new dwarf through that whole routine.

Everlook - Winterspring. Mostly because it’s in Winterspring.
Zabra’jin - Zangarmarsh.
Might throw Camp Mojache in here as well since I love it and Feralas.
I like the small but cozy feeling villages.

None of the tons nor villages nor even cities in World of Warcraft feel realistic; they’re too small and I keep wondering where everyone lives because there’s not enough houses nor inns for all the people walking around them.
I still get brief moments of that feeling from time to time when I revisit it on an alt. Definitely one of the zones that I was initially awestruck by.

the entirety of druskvar and vol dun. love it. love the color schemes, love all the animal types and variations in both areas, lots of little details in both areas that i love. very well done zones.
I’ve always had fond memories of the BBQ we had in Taurajo village. The brisket was delightful.
Other than that, I’ve always like Everlook and Amberpine Lodge.
Halfhill in Valley of the 4 Winds since I have my own digs there.
