New England clam chowder, but for homemade nothing beats chicken and dumplings, the thick eggy kind of dumplings.
Ohh, this is so tough. I love eggdrop soup and chicken & gnocchi soup, they are both at my highest. I love a good wedding soup but I’m not so good at cooking it, made by my grandmother it’s much better and up there with the other two.
My wife’s insane spicy/smoky pumpkin soup.
Or of I’m desperate, I can make a decent Minestrone.
Ain’t got nothing on the pumpkin though.
Lentil Curry soup is delicious, but I love making Minestrone best, and eating it with crusty sour dough.
That’s one of those memories that’s just stuck in there forever.
Menudo. My grandmother used to make a big pot of it every now and then. I would always gorge myself on it to the point of sickness and it would be a meal for days afterwards.
