What is your favorite mount that you own on any of your characters?

Mine is the mage racial mount from Legion. Sure it looks like a garbage can lid, but it has the following advantages:

  • Smallest flying mount in the game other than druid flight form and Halloween broom (which can only be used during Halloween).
  • Great sensation of speed while flying due to the small size of the mount.
  • Easily flies through doorways, tree branches or other openings that would block a larger mount.
  • Doesn’t block my view due to its small size. I can easily see terrain, mobs and quest objectives
  • No distracting flapping wings or moving bits to interfere with my view.

Because of these advantages, I find myself using it exclusively whenever I’m flying. It’s not flashy or impressive… but flying on it just makes the game better.

I think mages really lucked out with our Legion racial mount. We got the most useful one of all the races.

I can’t pick one as each toon has a special one that goes with their transmog . I do use one more than others on my main. I use the Rime toy then vial of the sands mount. Translucent pink dragon that can carry a party member

Invincible.

It is hands down the most unique looking horse mount that flies in the game.

Flight form. It is THE superior flying mount of the game.

Just got the, super awesome night elf goodness, priestess’ moonsaber so right now its my fav. The animation is different from other cat mounts though.

Spectral gryphon/horde equivalent the most. I like it and it’s kinda exclusive.

Vicious War Ram. To me it’s the best looking ram in the game. I primarily play dwarves and it fits perfectly. Especially when I’ve got my mountaineer/rifleman mog on. The green matches really well. Another reason I like it is due to the time and effort I put in. A lot of frustration doing arena, but overall a fun time spent with two great people. :smiley:

I think I use my Red Flying Cloud Disc the most. I like how my character stands on it and sometimes has their weapon drawn. Plus it’s not huge and doesn’t block a lot of my view.

My Gnomish flying machine, followed by the 2 seater rocket.

I play druids, so if I’m not using my flight forms, it’s hands-down the Grove Warden. Compact, pretty, and super class-lore friendly!

The Valarjar Stormwing is my favorite flying mount. My favorite ground mount is the Mechanospider

The Water Strider from MoP. I love the sound it makes and how it stands up and looks around.

Stuck for a few as favorite…so top 5?

  1. Astral Cloud Serpent
  2. The island stormwing mount
  3. White Wooley Rhino (ugly as sin old model but only rhino still)
  4. Corrupt Hippogryph (old model again, but fits my DH and Lock well)
  5. Onyxian Drake

Bonus one: The one you get for 400 mounts. Sucks i got it after getting BfA flying but still awesome mount

I love my little rocket ship I got from the card game ages ago. I got one pack as a joke Christmas present one year and it was in there. I vibrated with excitement (once I figured out the convoluted way to redeem the code lol).

Red Flying Cloud. Small with smooth quiet flight (ie, no undulating or flapping noises). Only drawback: the dust-cloud kicked up when grounded.
