What is your favorite Hot Sauce?

I’m a big fan of Mad Dog 357 Gold Edition. Not the pure gold, as that has fruity flavors, but the Gold Edition enhanced with No. 9 Plutonium extract.

It has a great flavor, and when I use it, it feels like I just finished making out with a rattlesnake who hates me.

What is your favorite hot sauce? How often do you use it?

I like to do hot sauce shots while fishing to see if I can keep reeling them in without missing one while my head is on fire.

This is probably boring but I just like Frank’s.

Not boring at all. Frank’s is one of the most delicious hot sauces around. I always use it on my buffalo wings. I am also a big fan of Extra Hot Texas Pete, Tapatio, and Extra Hot Crystal.

This sauce is exquisite.

UGH. That one is horrible. It just tastes like being pepper sprayed. Also dirt.

I was a big fan of Ashanti’s but I can’t find it anymore in my area. Great flavor and just enough heat for me.

Haven’t had the chance to try that. What’s the flavor profile like?

Have you ever tried Secret Aardvark?

I have not. But the name intrigues me.

Pico Pica.

I like my hot sauce to burn me in an appreciable way. Just enough that I kind of become present, like, wow, this is hot, but enjoyable. I have yet to find this sauce. Wingstop had some wings that my first time trying did this with but, I really need to shop some hot sauce.

It’s not particularly hot, but it has a respectable burn.

The main draw is that it’s absolutely delicious. It’s a unique fusion of Tex-Mex and Jamaican flavor.

Looks like this thread is giving me some good leads.

Frank’s hot sauce is what original Buffalo wing sauce is made with, just saying.

I’m the only person in the house that likes spicy food so I don’t get to experiment with hot sauces other than Tobasco.

There’s a Mexican food franchise where I live called Filiberto’s, and they make the absolute best hot sauce. Sadly, you can only get it from their stores.

Not a fan of hot sauce. Salt and pepper are about as “spicy” as I go.

I love spicy food, but being 53 I generally pay for it the next day. But I’m willing to deal with the consequences of my love for high Scoville ratings.
