What is your favorite "hidden place" in WoW

There was a spot near Sunrock retreat, where an NPC had a tent and a campfire. There was a water elemental there as well that would occasionally attack the campfire. Last time I looked, I couldn't find it.
Gallywix's pleasure palace was always my favorite place to just chill out. Secret places Kharazhan crypts was a cool and spooky little hidden area I stopped doing that though because you can get in trouble for glitching in there. Idk if you can even still get in there or not.

I also like that resort area in feralas not sure how hidden it is lol

It can be an old area you had to glitch into like old IF back in the day. or some place that didnt get added in until flying, like whispering forest thats still there being strange AF

When I used to wall walk into the unopened Hyjal in vanilla with a friend, take them all through the zone, duel inside the empty Onyxia cave a few times, and then take them to the highest spot in the game and slowfall down into Darkshore for several minutes, just being amazed at how such a huge zone was actually in the game, but undeveloped.
There's a crashed ship on a floating island in the twisting nether. I usually sit in the ship and reflect.

Back in Vanilla right before the Burning Crusade launch you used to be able to hop over a northern wall in Winterspring with some work. I don't know how a rogue in my guild found it but that's where they decided to place the World Tree instance for Caverns of Time.
So that's exactly what me and 3 other guildies did. The zone was completely empty but we ram around it for 20 minutes and stared in awe at the huge World Tree.
Eventually a game master warped in and said "alright boys fun times over". He was nice about it but he warped us all back to Orgimaar and asked us not to mention the glitch til they could get it resolved.
Still was a super neat sneak peek.

I remember right before cata was launch Mt Hyjal was "added in" but had a wall blocking it unless you died, if you got close enough to the wall as a ghost youd get a flying ghost mount and you could fly into Hyjal. I never did it myself but I had old guildies who did and took screen shots. it was alter said if anyone was caught doing it they would get banned as it was accessing a zone before it was officially launched (its why i never did it I was too spooked)

in the forest in tirisfal glades there's a spot where fey dragons will spawn and make an adorable little pattern and the entire thing is just a great experience, I like going there.

whispering forest :)
My favorite spot was the area inside the Deadmines instance. People called it Old Outlands, or Outlands Testing Grounds or something.

I thought it was a neat spot. You'd never expect it inside an instance like Deadmines. With the floating crystals with trees on top of them and what not, and the dalaran bubbles underneath that small area too. There was also rings of glitter/stars in the sky too, and you can see a clear moon.
I remember in vanilla wow finding a way to climb the mountains on the south side of Un 'Goro Crater and at the top was a huge perfectly flat plateau which would after Cataclysm become Uldum.

It was really weird running around this big expanse of nothing and the repeating ground texture map made a neat parallax effect.

I like the secret Dance hall in Valdrakk.

The dancing troll village was a fun little surprise back in vanilla. Guildy back then just randomly asked if I wanted to see something cool and without knowing where I was going at all led me to it. A fond memory.

GM island. I’m sure I was one of the few to see it on live servers before it was removed.

I got there using some ahem choice methods back before the map was Cataclysm’d, and poked around, before hearthstoning out.

You know, the method where you took the glitched boat underneath Stonetalon Mountains. If you know, you know, lmao.

I also wall-jumped/climbed back in Vanilla when it was easy to do, and went to original Mount Hyjal pre-cataclysm, from Winterspring, when it was just an empty, unfinished zone.

I’ve a lot of history in this game getting to places where I’m not supposed to be- even Karazhan Crypts before they were opened up and used in Legion, for the questlines.

HayvenGames would be proud, ahah.

It’s along the northern boundary of Storm Peaks, where mountains meet the sea and lightning flashes on the horizon.

no love for the underwater gnome villiage off the east coast of Tanaris, far in the fatigue water.

I love the little dwarf cottage on the beach of Arathi Highlands.
