What is your favorite "hidden place" in WoW

Back during the original wow you could go under Orgrimmar with a few wall jumps in the front. I thought that was pretty neat.

There was an area with a secret message under orgrimmar, prior to it being changed in cata. Not sure if it's still there honestly.

Back in Vanilla right before the Burning Crusade launch you used to be able to hop over a northern wall in Winterspring with some work. I don't know how a rogue in my guild found it but that's where they decided to place the World Tree instance for Caverns of Time.

That was actually an unfinished zone - it was the actual Hyjal zone which now exists since Cata as they finally finished it. It's in the same place you wall jumped into back in vanilla :)

anyway.. as for favourite hidden places, anyone been to mulgore and the plataeu just to the northwest? There's loads of adorable critters there... who will occasionally start carrying weapons and look rather dangerous :)

Karazhan crypts were cool:

That is my favorite too!
The goblin resort in Feralas, Gallywix's Pleasure Palace, goblin slums in Orgrimmar. I love to look around goblin locations...the pineapple wallpaper, fish sandwich (the whole fish between a bun), and other silly graphics that make me smile.

There is a day care in the mountains in Outland Nagrand that is sort of hidden. Neat place to visit
It's in Ulduar, along the cliffs at water's edge, where you can watch the clouds flash with lightning under the stars.

If I see you in my spot, I will destroy you.
It used to be Scalebeard's cave offshore of the old Azshara zone until Cata put new stuff there. Now it is any one of the floating islands in the TBC version of Nagrand.
The little island of the shore of Desolace. It's so relaxing with the view of the ocean. I also like the little faerie dragon easter egg near Undercity, that's amazing to watch. Here is a video someone made of it:

It can be an old area you had to glitch into like old IF back in the day. or some place that didnt get added in until flying, like whispering forest thats still there being strange AF

Not hidden, but my favorite place is Halfhill, Pandaria.
I would live there if I could.
in the forest in tirisfal glades there's a spot where fey dragons will spawn and make an adorable little pattern and the entire thing is just a great experience, I like going there.
Favorite hidden or hard to get to places were the river over Northshire (now trivial to get to with flying) and the village of dancing trolls (now has a tunnel to it and isn't as fun to go to). I also loved old Azshara. ^&*( goblins.

Regular places, I like Clan Watch or a floating island in TBC Nagrand, or my MoP farm. Clan watch has a couple empty ogre buildings, a pier and a lake. My farm has all the optional stuff and a drunk fishguy in my pond.

The Catacombs by Karazhan graveyard.
The Critter War in Mulgore.
As a DH the very top beam cross section inside the orgrimmar AH. Only other Demon Hunters can get there :)
Can't tell you, it's a secret.
My moms basement

I like that unused laughing skull village in gorgrond.

I also like sunrock retreat in STMs. They aren’t really “hidden” areas... just dead and unused villages that are still fun to visit. Sunrock use to be a quest hub before Cata, now its only used for trick or treating :/
I did the Karazhan crypts, caverns of time, and the edge of the world glitches when they were still around. I used to spend a lot more time exploring the works long before you got any achievements.

I as had a hangout spot in bc that I liked. There is a floating island in nagrand by the throne of elements. Above the lake, has a skeleton with an axe in its head. Used to just fly out there when I had nothing to really do.
I'm not sure if this counts because the general location is common. In Stormheim there's a giant statue of a Vrykul in an area called Nashal's Watch, but I'm not sure if most people are aware that there is a secret passage that lets you enter the statue. Climb a big flight of stairs and you reach the very peak and are actually in Nashal.

The view at the top is pretty awesome and I found it to be very neat for some reason.

See now this thread gives me a want to get back into the game. I want to fly out and check some of these places!!

At work atm so I can't. =P
I get irked sometimes at people following me around on my ah mount in Boralus sometimes (they want to use it, but will then complain at me when I dismount from the thing, like I'm supposed to be at the beck and call of everyone else in existence -.-). I've had to find a few places to "hide" because of this.

My favorite spot is wall jumping on to some rooftops in Boralus. It's in plain sight, easily seen by anyone who looks up, and it doesn't seem as if people have caught on how to get up there.
