Yeah Mick just went crazy with all the different varieties in Killer Instinct. Like I ain’t trashing his music for Doom. Its great. I just think you’re getting a lotta bang for your buck with Killer Instinct if that makes sense.
Nier Automata.
And wrath ofc
I think most people know Mick through Doom and I’m biased in that I think it’s some of, if not his best work.
But Killer Instinct shows just his range. He’s not just metal even if he’s extremely good at it.
Mans crazy talented.
Right? I love his work for Doom but man sometimes I just wanna play Killer Instinct on shuffle XD
Pity a lot of the hideout / club music tends to be ear worms and not the good kind lol. The “UGH BRAIN STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS SONG ITS BEEN HOURS” kind
Has to be Guild Wars 2, easily. The music is fantastic on every level.
That’s the full soundtrack that’s over 3 hours long and that’s just for the base game, not any of the expansions. My absolute favourites from the expansions though have to be the following:
Yeah that’s a lot… my bad XD
It’s not in a complete ost, but this entire soundtrack from my Sega CD days
Eccho the Dolphin as well
I’m not the biggest fan of the actual output of the SID, but I appreciate the work of the talented composers on the C-64, especially Rob Hubbard (and especially his Commando soundtrack remix), the Follin brothers, Matt Furniss, and Jeroen Tel. And, I specifically mention Jeroen because his conversion of his C-64 Overlord soundtrack to the NES is very reminiscent of the SID, and one of the few NES releases to sound this way (outside of any FDS or Famicom on-cart sound chip stuff).
His soundtrack for the NES (and Game Boy, Game Gear/Master System…sadly, the Master System doesn’t have an FM sound track too) version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula is whacked but interesting too:
I love the Nier series, if anything both Gestalt/Replicant and Automata both has really good OSTS.
