I actually really liked that creature/design when I first seen it.
Kinda sucks they added a bunch of bells and whistles on it. (Armor) I very much enjoy the original concept better. So if they making this a mount. Hopefully they have the sleek and clean looking one as an option for a mount too. 
Speaking of a creature that actually pulled off bells and whistles properly. I did enjoy one of the new bug designs. (I think it’s called a Gorm?) Which looked to have little lanterns on each side. Would be hard for me to find the image of it again.
Oh and my dream mount is Otterly predictable. Well it be a Mink or an Otter of course.
Edit: As for Revendreth. The Gargons are not really my cup of tea. (They could very much appeal to other people.) Even tho they look to be a bit chunkier. (Which usually I am fond of. For creatures and mounts. Might be the mean muggin face that is off putting for me. ) I think it would’ve been nicer to have some type of neat looking Gargoyle mounts. That actually look more similar to Gargoyles.
I think you mean the Decomposer mount.

For me being a die hard mount collector I would have to say the last holiday mount I need and that would be the Love Rocket.
One of the updated bear mounts with a saddle. I’d love a white one to match Thorland’s pet.

That doesn’t sound bad. Speaking of white I know I would’ve really enjoyed an update version of the Ancient Frostsaber. Which would only consist of a little saddle for decoration.
They could potentially make some some Lynx or Bobcat looking mounts. I have always thought bobbed/cropped tail are pretty cute. I love pointy ears with a passion too. So it would work out.
Maybe it wouldn’t scream out Night Elf instantaneously and can be a new fierce cat mounts for all races. Definitely would need a arctic/snow looking one.
Speaking of arctic animals. Wouldn’t a big fluffy arctic fox would’ve been amazing?

Vicious Gilnean Warhorse will pretty much always be a dream for me.
As for mounts that don’t exist? I really would love an elemental version of the Armored Grand Wyvern for my Shaman. Like a lightning version and a fire version and a water version. That would be a dream come true.
The armor is a bit much for me, but the hooves are awesome.

I think it’s the skull cage that really does it for me. I came back to the game post Cata and my first main was a Worgen. I just always wanted to put him on this guy.
