Mine rn:
Gtx 555
I5 core 2.67
Crappy mother board
Basic tower
10 gbs of ram
Tomorrow:
Gtx 1060
Ryzen 5 2400 3.67 ghz
Enermax ECB3090 tower
16gb of corsair ram (the good kind)
Decent 40 dollar power supply
And a Nice motherboard (idk what it is, but far better from what I have now)
It’s a decent budget build, I got it for Christmas, I needed a new comp because my 7 year old computer is actually dying, I asked for parts for computer, and got the rest of my computer. I bought the graphics card myself. Power supply we bought on sale at fry’s electronics a couple weeks ago
i basically know nothing about computers, i have an ASUS or something
i5 6500K
Mid-range motherboard.
Nvidia 1050 GTX
32 GB RAM
1 TB SSD.
modular platinum power supply
Currently a MacBook Pro 2016 because my gaming PC died.
Gonna be building a new PC next year when AMD releases their new CPUs. Something like:
Ryzen 3600X
GTX 2060
16GB Ram
Can’t wait.

Kinda. It hit’s 60fps but it gets HOT as hell since it’s a laptop.
All settings ultra LOW though lol.
Intel i7-6700K 4.00ghz
Asus Z170-A Motherboard
Corsair 16GB memory
Nvidia 1060GTX 6gb memory SSC
M.2 960 Pro 512 GB
Corsair 850w 80+ Gold power supply
OP, I recommend you get a better power supply when you can afford it. Also AMD CPU’s can run hot (they are good CPU’s, but they do run hot) so get the best CPU fan you can afford.
i7-6700k (water cooled)
GTX 970
16GB memory
2 TB HDD for games + tiny 128GB SSD for the OS.
My mobo, tower, and PSU aren’t really anything to write home about. It’s a few years old at this point, but I still average around 70-80fps on the 10 preset, so I’m safe waiting another year or two to upgrade.
I7-7700K overclocked to 4.8 ghz
EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080
Giggabyte gaming 7 motherboard
1000w evga power supply
16 GB ram
Corsair AIO 140mm cpu cooler
6 noctua industrial fans for airflow.
- Core i7 6700k 4Ghz w/Noctua cooler
- 32GB RAM
- 1TB Samsung 850 EVO (main drive)
- 500GB Samsung 850 EVO
- 500GB Samsung 840 EVO
- 1TB Toshiba HDD
- EVGA Geforce GTX 980Ti Classified
- EVGA Geforce GTX 950 (for second monitor)
- EVGA SuperNOVA 650G2 650w PSU
- Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 motherboard
- Fractal Design Define S case
- macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (primary OS)
- Windows 10 (secondary OS)
- ASUS MX27AQ (primary display, 27" 2560x1440)
- ASUS PB278 (secondary display, 27" 2560x1440)
Runs WoW like a champ under both operating systems and chews through about anything else I throw at it too.
What you put together is good, I’m just “fine tuning” it so to speak

Well I had a crappy one. Then on way to store last night someone set one on curb with free sign. I wish I had that kind of money. looking over it. it has a blown power supply. The rest look like good shape. Not bad it has a 1050 gtx ti, and rest not sure till I give a run through. It looks like we’ll taken care of. Free from dust. Only thing notice is power supply looks and smells burned.

Thank you
Yeah I was planning on getting a tiny bit better power supply down the line anyways. Just need to get a job because I haven’t had since leg surgery

Well since it’s a gtx 1050 ti, it prolly has a equal value processor. So all you need is a cheap but not to cheap. I’d say around the 40s range power supply.
A pc is a pay more to get more. And having a 15-20 dollar power supply isn’t going to get you far
i5 6600K (later i5s have more cores and less clock per core… still best value imo)
16gb ram
gtx970 (would gladly upgrade to a 1070 or so, 1080s are still too high for me and the 20xx are def. not the best value)
all in all still doing great for an “old” mid-range computer - i’d just step up to a 1070.
Nice looking computer “guts”!
With water cooling, I bet you overclocked that puppy something serious
