What happened to all the guards in Ratchet? As Alliance I can’t do anything because the Horde just sit there and camp everyone. I thought it was supposed to be a “neutral” town

Alliance can gain rep with Ratchet specifically. There are also Alliance questgivers in Ratchet.

so it means the guards arnt your friends if your rep isnt anything over friendly.
why SHOULD they help protect you?
Because they are Goblins, and they want money. People dying in their towns is bad for business.

Imagine these forums when people start landing in Thorium Point. There will be a lot more “pvp happening on a pvp server” than there is now.
im usually the one doing the ganking, but yea, phase 2 of classic launch was fun to gank ally. they all quit lol
I disagree. Toxic design ruins PvP on a PvP server. It’s better to make sure there is healthy PvP engagement so PvP servers can flourish. There is good WPvP and then abusing design ruining WPvP.
It’s not a toxic design. You don’t have enough rep for the goblins to protect you. If you do some of the quests they give they will protect you.
Stay out of ratchet.

Thorium Point doesn’t have guards, this is a poor example of the topic in mention.
There are guards in ratchet at the end of the dock and around the out skirts of the town.
It’s not nice or fair, but honestly if I were gonna complain about stuff in SoD ratchet guards wouldn’t be on the top of my list
The Horde has laid claim to Ratchet and declared it neutral. Under our Hordely authority, we decree it to be a neutral zone and safe for all! (exceptions apply*)

I played on Pagle which was already a busy server with a large majority Alliance pop and after they opened server transfers the server was absolutely flooded with PvP server refugees. The server was always overpopulated to a ridiculous degree after that and I had seen many people talk about how some PvP servers were defacto PvE servers because Alliance basically did not exist.
Tell Blizz to put the Vendor in Goldshire then.
