The login server can only handle so many requests at a time. When servers come up after maintenance, there are hundreds (if not a few k on some servers) all trying to log in at once. Login queue’s are there to keep the login server from crashing altogether.

How…do you know about that? Also, it was ONE time and I spilled coffee on my mousepad and got reported by the entire BG going to get paper towels.

There is the same queue in retail. I assume the server capacity is shared and retail is experiencing a surge in players due to the incoming Shadowlands expansion.

it was in a bg when i was ranking my ally war and u afkd at st and got capped and then argued with me on forums and i called u out for afking bgs, nbd lol
Ah okay. Yeah I got a 7 day ban for that 20 minutes after it happened. I didn’t keep ranking after that because it set me back about 3 weeks of ranking. Pretty salty about it still tbh.
i dont report i just talk ish about it - but that sux tho
