I have mining and sometimes I find these rock walls that I can knock down and go into these little caves. But all that ever seems to be in them are shovels when I click on them they teleport me out of the cave. Am I missing a tool or something? Are there suppose to be something in them? Whats up with them?

Sometimes there are things inside - like ore but mostly they’re empty.

usually they have herbs or deposites inside.
It is just something interactive.
Currently only Miners can open them but at some point everyone that is high enough on dragonscale expedition renown can also open them

You can find crystals in some of them (for a mini game) and I know one has a rare in it.
They are bugged, along with 60% of everything else in this expansion.
look for the nodes that have nodes in them. There will be some nodes for the mining which will in turn allow you to smacks in the faces. Have fuuuuuuuuuuun…

Yes, that’s what I was going to say. At first I thought it was a bug, but then I realized it was a way to “dig yourself out” if anither rockwall spawns while you are still inside the cave.
So far only one cave I came across actually had any ore in it.
The first ever one I found had a titan-touched herb inside, so I invited my friend who was an herbalist to go inside and obtain it.
Those rock walls exist so miners can help other people get profession-related stuff, or other random goodies.
I found another later one with two very good rich mineral nodes behind, and another rock wall cave with absolutley nothing
Your experience may vary.
There are tons of them. Maybe 15-25% work properly.

Different caves. The one the OP is talking about is blocked except for miners.
I know, this character is a miner and that is what I have found in some of the caves.
I’ve seen herbs, ores, a few mobs, and some explorer’s satchels in caves.
