Someone literally did this on my first boss after pre-patch dropped. Everyone waited and it took way too long.

Question… Does it show in chat who pressed need/greed?
If so when I’m in on my healers I’ll just make a macro saying “If you turtle you get no heals next boss”

lol how brutal. What happens on the last boss when the next que pops. I have to choose between my roll and possibly sitting in que for a hour because of some a…hat. Sire has RP and the next que pops right away a lot of the time. I dont even see any timer what is it? It needs to be I click my roll and I can leave right away but still get my roll and chance of loot.
I used to get personal loot drop. Copy the askmrrobot and paste it online to see if it is an upgrade. If it wasn’t I would often put it up for roll. Not Im just going to need on everything and check it out later unless it massively obvious it isn’t an upgrade.
Ick. There was no reason to remove PL. This will suck.

I could understand group loot in normal and above, but it has no place in LFR.

personal loot system in LFR is garbage anyways. could possibly go 2-3 weeks of LFR with 0 loot. when a normal guild raid you’d come out w/ 2-3 pieces per raid lock.
This is an old practice. We have people rarely try this on FF14 - they don’t last long, easy report. I’m not surprised its happening on wow again.
never underestimate the scummy stuff players will do for loot. ever.
if the opportunity for abusing the mechanics to get loot exists, players WILL abuse it.
if someone can roll need on a piece of gear in LFR, theyre gonna do it. personal loot is the way to go in LFR given it’s very nature as a random matchmaking tool, but blizzard went ahead and did it in a traditional way anyways, lol
not even MoP had need/greed on LFR loot as far as i cam remember.

I had no idea, it makes so much sense now. People just stand there and refuse to roll for 5min after its over and make me wait on them to see if I won, I never understood wtf they were doing.

They need to make it a 1minute timer. People shouldn’t be AFK in LFR anyway.
