a worthless and wasted pvp talent, simply ignore and continue to zug at warlock until it dies

That useless ability hits for like 900k to maybe 1 mil if they cast on you has no other debuffs just low damage, doesn’t even force anyone to stay in it, it needs to fatally hit for high damage in order to keep someone from moving out, and has a cast time on it.
An ability that is there to force people to not move out but then doesn’t do anything to force them to stay in it. It needs to hit for 25% to 40% max health if it’s only debuff is just damage, don’t care if it’s overtime or instant but the damage has to be high enough to force the mindset that I’d the cast time wasn’t interrupted with how many disrupts there is that you should stay in it.
I mean we have mages with instant ice wall, eles totem that forces people in a ring and then moves them w.e you want them, ww knock up/rop, warr spear, all abilities with conditionals the moment the button is pressed you’re already forced.
And then us, cast this ring on person with a cast time on it, and if they move out they get hit for 900k or split if someone in there as well. Basically if you move out you get hit with 1 overpower,1 arcane shot, 1 lighting bolt, 1 empowered demon bolt, 1 shadowbolt crit, 1 ice lance worth of damage, if it’s two people it’s an auto attack worth of damage. Pitiful and worthless talent.
That’s pretty unfortunate. I like the concept and aesthetic of it. Looks pretty cool. I wonder if they will improve it back to it’s original creation one day.
Meanwhile warriors can Spear you in place and then Bladestorm you to death and you literally can’t get out unless you have port
It looks cool sure that’s all it’s got going for it.
No one will unless its damn near fatal damage and everyone knows it. Unless they make it like eles ring totem/ice wall/spear it useless because if it’s just damage it needs to hit hard enough where people don’t wanna move out of it.
Or just remove the damage and do a force conditional like all the other specs abilities that force something when used and please no more slow movement abilities, there are so many different ways to rid of snares/slows that most are pointless now a days.
I think what would make it unique is like if it was a stun that did not DR with anything at all, including other stuns. Maybe up thr damage by 50% also. Now that would be nice.
