What is this? Campaign completed but...?

Now there’s a new campaign quests?

“DragonFlight” 0/9 chapters:
Dragon isles emissary
the mother oathstone
the chiefstains duty
a mystery, sealed
etc

what is this for? is it necessary to do?

/edit forgot to point out, i’m not even level 70 yet, i’m 68, not sure if this matters?

It’s storyline associated with raising your rep with the various DF factions. You’ll unlock it organically as you continue playing.

is it necessary to do? also i dont pve/do quests, i only pvp for end game, do i need to pve to complete this campaign?

I am at 7 renown for all of the factions and still, it states I need to raise my renown further.

Depending upon the faction, renown can go up to 30 or so.

Higher renown opens up more recipes and better items to make those recipes, gear, quests for high level mounts and gear, transmogs, higher level everything, etc.

Once you hit renown 10 for a faction, all your alts get a 100% boost to renown up to renown 10.
Once you hit renown 20, all your alts get a 200% boost to renown for the faction up to renown 10, and 100% boost to all renown for the faction after that.

is it necessary to do these campaign quests? if i only wanna pvp?
