I have to fly from one end to another to get anything done. Crafting up north, resting zone/bank in center. Transmog/azerite/mission table south. PVP stuff in random corner outside of the city. Is Boralus the same way? I might faction change just because of how much I hate this city design & layout. WTF were they thinking.
Words cannot express how much I hate this stupid city and the amount of time wasted getting small logistical feats done in this horrible zone.
The discrepancy vs. Boralus is night and day. Everything is centralized, localized, accessible, and not on more than two levels which are easy to traverse. It may as well have valets and complimentary room service for how damned convenient it is by comparison.
If you were judging by BfA Capitol design, Blizzard is 110% for the Alliance, they have a statue of an Alliance Knight outside their HQ, and their most famous writer/voice actor is best known for his role as the High King of Stormwind.
Honestly, I hope the Zuldazar raid is such a complete and utter disaster for the Horde that the entire city gets leveled and they have no choice to rebuild it from the ground up.
But it is a laugh riot to ride through fast, as an Alliance completionist or for that weird quest where you have to find the spy dude on the Bridge somewhere.
I actually have fun in BoreAllUs, where the NPCS are aggro and live in the gutter or something; It is fun if a WQ is there, so I can kill lots of them.
My BFA reps are all Exalted, without even trying really. So I wish that there was a faction with those people to raise. That would have been a fun side project.
Played both sides and Borales is far more user friendly. Rest zone covers everything. Bank. Professional Trainers. Table Missions. And the entire wharf.
I STOPPED PLAYING ALLIANCE, BECAUSE OF BORALUS !!! It is so bad to navigate, I spend 20 minutes every time trying to find places. Yes I am bad at navigating. That’s why I heal rather than tank. But I often give up playing and log off, after not finding what I am looking for in Boralus. The map needs labels, that is what’s wrong with most WoW maps. But in Boralus there are multiple levels, sides and corridors and there is no method to navigating, it’s just run round and round until you get frustrated and log off. 1 Alliance 120 toon, 12 Horde 120 toons.
I can navigate it just fine but the distance from portals to boat, scrapper to weekly event quest is ridonkulous. Yes beyond ridiculous all the way into redonkulous.
While Zuldazar is bad, my first experience with a city was the Undercity and that was confusing enough to make me leave the level 12 rogue behind and go to alliance.
Also… they literally live next to a toxic river of sewage.
