What is the War Within adding that is worth the price?

These two are the same thing lol.

Yes. it’s the same kind of content that any normal expansion would have.

because any time they try anything new or different ya’ll scream and cry about it.

It’s just “more Warcraft.” If you feel like “More Warcraft” is lackluster, your only option is to not purchase(or refund) and not play. That is the only real way that Blizzard actually cares about, to show them that you don’t just want more Warcraft in WoW and you want something different.

Well yes, but I was talking about UI QoL changes, like quest filtering.

Unlike literally every other expac in the game? What do you want exactly? Like an entirely new game?

I bought Forza 5 but it’s more racing? Why won’t they do anything new? Like city simulation? Why is every new Forza just more racing? Did I misspend all my money?

To be fair though, early WoW expansions were still like 95% just the same list of features with new continent to level in, new dungeons, new raids, and alternating new races/classes.

I think at some point they also ran into the problem that people wanted new features that have meaningful progression but they can’t just keep bolting new systems onto the endgame without it becoming bloated.

Which led us to several expansions of borrowed power and features that got abandoned after the expansion, but people hated that as well.

So now they’re scaling it back and people are going “well, what feature are we even paying for?”. They tried having stuff like hero talents and the new flight system on all mounts, but people just see that as “more of the same”.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t with this community.

Pretty much.

Personally I’d like to see more features that aren’t tied into progression but just fun side things, with the understanding that it’s okay if not everybody engages with the new feature. Player housing would be among the most requested feature to add in this vein.

Though I’m sure if they did, somebody would complain that it “has no point” since it doesn’t affect progression.

I am excited to see how delves turn out, though. Warbands will also be some nice QoL, since I have like 20+ alts.

This is said every expansion.
It gets old.
If you don’t care about new content, don’t buy it I guess?

Or, don’t play it in your case I suppose, since you already bought it.

Its an expansion to a game with nearly a dozen expansions now. It can’t be that hard to predict what it will roughly have in it no?

It’s almost like there’s a pattern

You’ve replied to your own strawman multiple times in this thread. I guess you just want people to mute you or something, I dunno.
