looking for the smallest ferocity pet that is easily found and tamed, preferably world creatures, not in a raid, etc.
Ive looked at Petopia and there doesnt seem to be anything thats similar in size to the new DF otters we can tame, which would be perfect, since we evidently are never getting pet specs back.
suggestions would be appreciated.

in terms of taking up the least amount of space and with no annoying animations, probably any generic cat or wolf pets. you can use the glyph of lesser proportions to shrink them down further as well, atlhough if you’re BM the glyph won’t apply to animal companion secondary pets.

thanks.
Yeah, I kinda figured cats would be the one. I was hoping I missed something.
Really want to use those otters with my vulpera hunter main, but I just cant let cosmetics override function and ferocity is just the only way to go.
Thanks again👍
What about something like a raven or a faerie dragon?

Yeah I just got a couple of those Ravens named nevermore. I just wondered if there was anything small like the new otter . I really wish they would give us pet specs back so we could just decide what that we actually want to use ourselves instead of having to just be confined to 1/3 of the pets out there

Wait wait wait wait wait!!! There’s OTTER pets?!? Where??? What is there name?? I NEEDS
In the plains in DF. Usually by the creeks and rivers
Very cool, but theyre not ferocity.
I guess running one as a second pet would do
I am mm can they still be tamed or are they exotic locked?
You know I don’t have any clue because I always run Beastmaster. You can check with Petopia
Any Hunter spec can tame them! …but you need a specific renown rank with the Iskaara Tuskarr. I forgot which rank, though.
Edit: you unlock the storyline “The Chieftain’s Duty” at renown 11. Gotta complete the quest chain to get the ability to tame ottuks.

Otters can be found all over the Dragon Isles. You need renown 11 with Iskaara in order to learn how to tame them though.
As for small ferocity, scorpids have a fairly low profile, and don’t flap around like the birds do. The new peafowls in DF I think are small, too.
I use a spider in keys, it’s pretty small as well.
It would be nice if that glyph would also shrink the Animal Companion second pet, as well.
