Df started the mid season content drops, but most of the content was dropped via main patches.
Probably because since March 2020 the world has objectively been getting worse (and will only keep doing so).

Nightfalls and Duos combined have less content combined than any one thing from DF midpatch content. Visions added nothing new since BFA. It’s a bad patch and everyone knows it, even you know it.

It’s crazy because no one here is saying WoW is bad, no one is saying TWW is bad, no one is even saying 11.1 is bad, we are saying that the midpatch content for 11.1 is bad, which is just objectively true by all measures----Fun, duration of content, gear rewards, cosmetic rewards, all bad.

Tbh I think it’s just filler content as they are actually pushing out new content faster than before. The rate that we consume the newer content has been less timegated than before, and as a result I feel we hit walls faster. So we get filler content to help retain attention.
Filler content should at least be filling though, right? 15 minutes of content timegated over months is insane.

We haven’t seen that major new content yet - just them saying they’re pushing it faster. When the next “expansion” ships we’ll see just what we’re getting for this faster ship cycle.
It would have helped if they would’ve said it was a new holiday, instead of scheduling it like one and making people go find its category in achievements, then assuming people got the point.
And like I’ve been saying… this darn well better not be their answer to evergreen Brawlers Guild. I just want Brawlers Guild back with all of its rewards.
