Unless the gold yields are somehow insane, I don’t see the point to all these Fury Warriors XP locking themselves between 12 - 10 then spamming ques as a “tank” to burst through the dungeon.
I don’t really care how fast or slow it is, I’m just here to have a good time, but what is reason for doing it in the first place?

Typically they’re used in Timewalking events to farm the currency.
I guess people who enjoy doing it that way could also just do that for fun when timewalking isn’t available.
They find it fun.
I don’t share the same idea of fun as they do, so I don’t do that, but that’s why folks can do what they want with their monthly fee.
Maybe this, too! Certainly an efficient grind, not that it’s a horrific chore to grind TWing anyway.
I have been leveling a Shaman the last day or so, and I’ve been seeing it quite frequently so I was wondering. What kind of boggles my mind is a few of them are crazy entitled, and when one thing goes slightly “wrong” from their plan, they say something snarky then leave, hitting themselves with a 30 minute debuff and wasting no one’s time than their own.
I guess they think they are doing you a favor because they are queing as tank, and they can carry the group through the dungeon quickly?
In reality I don’t think most people really care if we lose out on a few minutes clearing the dungeon with a regular clear, and I’ve yet to wait more than 30 seconds for a new tank.
The sense of entitlement seems way overblown for the “favor” they think they are doing for the group. I really can’t make heads or tails of what the point of all of it even is.

no, they’re not farming currency most of the time, they are selling fast runs for gold to other players
Because they enjoy it. That’s what twinking is about.

Because tank queue is faster than dps queue and because that fury warrior becomes the tank with how much damage they deal, they might as well queue as the tank.
I thought they fixed the twinks recently.
They fixed being able to gain experience if you queue something with someone in your group that has locked xp, but they didn’t actually fix the underlying problem of janky level scaling and your character being at it’s absolute peak power at level 11

Nothing wrong with twinks in timewalking anyway, no one is doing timewalking for a challenge to begin with. Every group I’ve been in with my twink fury warrior has either thanked me or begged me to do more with them.
