oh, one gets valorstones there? Up to now I have actively avoided them because the keys are not enough to get me there killing stuff that I do not understand as part of a memory that I do not understand. But if there are valorstones to be had, maybe I will try one again…
Yeah the valorstone cashout isn’t bad imo, I got like over 200 from a 5 echo run.
They need to be turned into announced events (with better rewards) to get people to do them and tie them into the storyline.

I am dense enough that I do not know what a 5 echo run might be. Care to enlighten me?
Doing the Many Radiant Echoes challenge requires you to burn 5 echoes where the Radiant Echo version only needs 1. Going for the former is the best way to maximize your valorstones and coffer key shards reward. You can ignore Radiant Discord difficulty since that requires 5 as well but it’s just for achievements.
To make me think I got a purple item in a chest only to make me sad that it’s another stupid Worldsoul…
I would honestly just… rather get key fragments at the end of the delve itself.
It’s there to get some delve key fragments mate. It’s for the casuals who don’t do group stuff.
Literally just keys.
I never bothered either after the first couple - I almost never use the 4 keys I get from doing my weekly caches. I think most of my characters had 20 keys at the end of S1 unused and a bunch of those radiant echos - all deleted.

I think the only story element, like the prepatch event, is to show whatever the World Soul is it’s always been aware of the history of the planet.
