Just order your characters from top to bottom favorite, most played, played, least played, “inactive”. This way your least played characters are not in the way. It is a pretty simple fix that just takes a bit of time to do.
I’ve been wondering the same thing really. Just mostly curious what warrants an enormous patch that has no content at all. 3 quests that lead to a broken unuseable bank, and … honestly , i dont see much difference at all, cept a few nerfs, couple buffs. Nothing that warrants the downtime and patch size. Maybe its just me.
“It has no gameplay value to me so what is the point” is the biggest failure WoW has instilled into its playerbase.
Years of things being added for the sake of it being content to be consumed and WoW has turned into a job where your responsibility is to just log in on a daily basis, complete the content you haven’t completed yet, and then log off.
If anything stopped World of Warcraft from being a “world” you can be a part of it was players who demanded that the game become a game and not a place a hang out with friends online.
Also it contains all the data for TWW… that content is just locked.
rearrange the list so the ones you won’t use are at the bottom.
Account-wide.
This, had to do a big reorder myself as I am a bit of an alt aholic (at least one of every class on both factions), and for some reason the warband bit threw three level 10 or less test characters I’d forgotten about in my four favorites with one character I did actually use recently, and the rest were a random mismatch that wasn’t related to who I played most or most recently.
But I sorted them pretty much as said, except keeping my horde together and then my alliance together (the latter mainly played to see the Alliance side of story, at least back in the days when there was actually different story to experience depending on faction anyhow)
Honestly, I could see them try to get follower dungeon type things, but filling in with members of your warbands. So you could do a dungeon with all alts. That shouldn’t be too difficult, since the follower system is in place. They just need to get it to work with different classes for the roles.
