What is the point of the Queen's Conservatory?

It seems to only give me junk to take up room on my inventory.

Supposedly, if you pay the 25000 anima or whatever to get it to max level, you can sometimes get purple bags which have decent stuff in them.

Supposedly.

I wish you could get anima back from bad purchases, like this. I strongly encourage people to NOT BUY THIS WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP ‘UPGRADE’

I kind of feel that way with most of the perks for night fae

From what I can see the only one worth buying in any of the covenants is the table, and barely. Supposedly at level 3 the transport network ports you to Oribos? But is it really worth the time and expense of Anima?

The venthyr party is involved enough to be worth investing in if you enjoy it. It is definitely not everybody’s cup of tea (heh) though.

To give you a false sense of need to grind anima.

Yes rank 3 transport gives a ONE WAY portal to Oribos, heads up there.

I do like that portal though after carefully thinking of the others. With the “Shaded Hearth” bracer enchant cutting your hs cd to 10 min, it’s still really convenient. Considering I used to use my Dalaran Hearth, and portal my way to Oribos instead of that god-awful flight path (it’s faster, I timed it lol).

I was hesitant to get the portal though, won’t lie. BUt I figure… eh, what the hell else am I gonna burn my anima on? I’ll get more eventually.

I suspect the very last thing I will have upgraded by the end of SL will be the tea party.

I just looked at all of the sanctum upgrades and there’s barely anything to any of them that woudl be of use to me. Why would i grind anima at all?

Its a freakin garden , it is to relax not be a trilling experience.

There is no “need” to grind anima at all – that was the point. They listened to players complain about grinding artifact power for 2 expansions in a row, so they made anima (and everything it brings) completely optional.

I got my nice butterfly backpack from it.

I can respect that, but it seems like if you’re going to offer anything, it probably ought to be attractive and interesting for the work and time it takes to get. You know, risk vs reward and investment in fun, this being a game?

Casual side content to waste your time with.

As you upgrade the Queen’s Conservatory you can earn different rewards, like pets, transmog, two soul shapes, and even mounts at max level. However it does require Wildseed Root Grain being set to infuse into the wildseed before you placed within a spirit within said wildseed.

For a breakdown, 1 Wildseed Root Grain infused to a seed combined with either a Martial, Untamed, or Prideful spirit can reward a pet. Furthermore the Wildseed Root Grain-Untamed spirit combo can unlock the two soul shapes.

2 Wildseed Root Grain infused to a seed combined with any spirit create different transmog. At the same time 2 Wildseed Root Grain/Untamed spirit combo can grant a mount.

3 Wildseed Root Grain infused to a seed combined with any spirit create the same rewards as above.

4 Wildseed Root Grain combined with any spirit creates purple quality transmog and a mount.

Adding Wild Nightbloom to the seeds increased the Satchel bag size and the rewards quality of the items. With one Wild Nightbloom becoming the satchel large, two Wild Nightbloom turning the satchel to stuffed, and three/four Wild Nightbloom making it Overflowing.

Thanks for that explanation. Not my cup of tea but I passed this along to some friends who probably didn’t know and would be all over it.

Useful means different things to many people.

If you like collecting, The conservatory is great. It’s just a passive place to plant, also a serene place to fish.

Just be aware that it takes building the thing up to its full three levels before you start seeing any rewards worth taking the time for. Until then its like 2 Lost Sole in a bag.

I’m just leveling it up for the conservator’s guise…but the anima return idea…now that would be FANTASTIC seeing as after all that anima we still have to pay more for the conservatory stuff…

Ive gotten a mount and a few cosmetics. Then again, cosmetics seem to be the vast bulk of all the rewards and vendor stuff for Night Fae. Lots, and lots, and lots of cosmetics…

You can get the four covenant feature mounts without paying 5k anima for any of them.
