What is the point of the draconic hoard of delicacies?

A quest chain culminating in a feast recipe that only gives one serving and then has to be “built” with more ingredients after being placed down? Why even use this over the other feast recipe’s that give multiple servings and can just be plunked down instantly? IS it just a garbage compensatory recipe for those who didn’t get lucky with rng to get a real feast recipe from the weekly quest?

I’m guessing that the idea is that each player can donate one piece of their normal secondary stat food to the feast to essentially convert it to a mainstat buff rather than just have one person bring food for everyone

It’s a really weird implementation though

Its the result of that stupid kettle feast from zerth mortis. Blizz always takes mediocre ideas and makes them worse.

People didnt hate it! Lets make them hate it!

It’s way more cost effective and easier to make even taking into consideration the “donation” part than the other feasts. And on a personal note, it’s larger in size when placed down so I don’t have to cover it with raid markers so that people can find it.

It’s not more cost effective. You only get one serving and you can’t use tuskarr chocolate on it. And then you’d have to ask people to keep an extra stack of food they normally wouldn’t have ion their bags anyway, or just take the extra ingredients yourself.

It pulls regular ingredients from your bank, just like the stone soup pots did. You don’t have to contribute full meals to it, or have anything on your person. Can if you want I guess.

It wouldn’t let me contribute anything except meat meals, the ones that give stam.

I was a little surprised by this too… I went to the AH and bought ingredients for 10 and was kind of excited when I put one down at start of Mythic I was pugging only to realize, to my embarrassment, that all I had done was put an empty cauldron in front of everyone. Fortunately, someone did have all the ingredients and they completed the feast/
