I have gathered all the crabs for Treasures of the Isle of Dorn. Others and myself have reported the bug, but this has not been resolved. I have contacted the GM’s and they can’t do anything to resolve this issue. The only thing remaining is Tree’s Treasure, but there are only 5 crabs showing, everything is crossed off and I can’t talk to Letitia to complete this achievement. I back tracked to see if there was another crab, but there are no crabs! There are other reports on this bug, but it looks like it still has not been resolved. The GM’s can’t help and just tell us to go report a bug or go to a website… blah blah. I miss the old days when GM’s could actually help resolve the issue.

They fix bugs. Some of them (game-breaking and impacting a lot of players) are more urgent than others (those who make you miss out on 10 achievement points and maybe a pet/toy/mount).

The point of bug reports is to document bugs for developers to eventually get to (likely) depending on severity/number of players impacted. There might be a hotfix mid week, or at weekly reset, or at a bigger update. In some instances possibly not at all - it may not be a priority. This is part of the reason why PTR is a thing - to test and report bugs and be a player-based QA before the update goes live - all we can do is report, hope for the best, and continue to document the bug/other bugs as they come.
This is in no way saying that what you and others (including myself) are experiencing isn’t valid and doesn’t need addressed in a timely manner. It is quite valid and it should be addressed in a timely manner. I too have been playing for quite some time, not quite 20 years, but 16-17 years. I too miss the old days but those days are long gone. We made some great memories along the way though. From my experience the customer service is hit and miss - sometimes it is great and other times it feels as if it falls short - especially in comparison to the old days (but again those days are long gone). I can’t speak for what happened to Blizzard and how they operate now - I have my speculations but none of which I am willing to state currently without further data.
But my recommendation to possibly help you and others with this until it does get fixed - if you haven’t tried it already - is to approach the portion you are missing on another character as quite a few achievements are account wide now. Check the achievement beforehand to ensure you aren’t wasting your time. As the goblins enjoy saying - “Time is money, friend.”
I do wish you the best with this and hope it gets resolved sooner rather than later or some workaround is discovered.

Update. You can complete this account wide achievement on an another toon. You just need to wait for the weekly reset I guess, because I tried the following week on another character and the crabs were there. There is one crab that is the issue, I had to click on it 3 times and tried the branch in my bag and it finally worked. The first time it just disappeared, but I read that you need to stand on the tree, go figure. Just glad I was able to complete it and get the toy.
