I think think the system is that sophisticated to understand and learn that you only want to use 2h weapons. The only thing I can think of is that there is some kind of option to toggle that off, but then again, what if you forgot to remove it and then wanted to get a main and or off-hand later and kept getting 2 hand. Who is at fault for that then?

The only druid specializations that get offhands are balance/restoration.

Feral and guardian use 2-handed pole-arms/staves(…agility based, and weapons don’t swap stats, before you come up with the inevitable idea).

Well seeing as how I am in neither of those specs, thats another thing, I get weapon drops for those specs.

I’m just saying, “Loot specialization” seems to be a joke that doesnt work the way it should.

Not much… This has happened in Legion, BFA, and now Shadowlands. I find it very frustrating to be honest.

It seems this team wants people to play all the specs.

If you would of had boomie specced, you would of gotten an intellect weapon instead of agility.

I am always in balance spec, its the only one i play. And My loot specialization is set to balance druid.

if you had read what i said in the post it gave me an off-hand item which I cant use because I use a staff (2hander)
I understand some balance druids may use other weapons- but thats an exception to the rule.

I see now, I think you misunderstand the system. Bear and feral use agility weapons. Balance and restoration use intellect. If you got an offhand intellect weapon while loot specced into balance then the system is working as intended.

Bear and feral don’t use those offhand weapons so you misunderstand a bit.

You just got unlucky with an offhand intellect weapon because now you have to farm a main hand intellect weapon.

If that is your complaint then I understand now.

It might be working for you but not for my mage, who repeatedly gets wands when I hate wands with a passion and then have to locate an offhand.

I should be able to pick what type of weapon I want. Or they should put back the ability to turn off the wand shoot action.

I understand some druids might be using other weapons but MOST druids are using 2handers. So dropping an off hand for a 2hander class is stupid.

You said tank weapon. Bear tank uses agility weapons. Don’t get mad at me because you don’t know what the frock you are talking about.

The game in general sucks with loot all the korthia weps are offspec mostly I mean why should you get a staff when my loot stays enhance since forever along with healing trinkets all that and the vault is pretty shady about giving the wrong weapon when everyone playing knows what’s best maybe blizz should balance better in 2021 using 1h’s or a 2h should be the same after 17 yrs you’d think.
