What is the point in this profession other than being a waste of a slot? It provides nothing substantial anymore, glyphs were made pointless several expansions ago, Darkmoon Faire Cards are no longer made by Scribes. Everything else is niche.
Missives, treatises, contracts, profession gear, and vantus runes. There are also staves and off-hands that can be made relevant to endgame if upgrading is done right.
