What is the optimal leveling path for a Lightforged Draenei?

Since they get 20% do bonus for demons. Anyone labbed it out?

Edit: Jesus Christ where did I say anything about grinding?

I mean, you could just find some demons in the world and start grinding mobs if you wanted, but I’d imagine just normal questing to be faster.

Legion assaults must be fantastic for Lightforged. They are pretty great anyway (and were already great before the buff).

A Lightforged Draenei could rip through Legion especially fast by focusing on the assaults when they are up.

Outside of that? Not sure if anyone has come up with a questing route that maximizes demons, tbh. Desolace, Felwood, Hellfire Peninsula… those zones must be pretty good. No doubt one could come up with some others.

Well you have a specific area in Ashenvale, Felwood, Blasted Lands, Hellfire Peninsula, then not much till the Broken Shore I think.

So, Kalimdor, Outland, Catyclysm ig?, Draenor obvs has a few, and then Legion

For dungeons: Maraudon and Dire Maul? Mainly for satyrs, Are there other demons in here?
For raids: Black Temple, Sunwell Plateau? Any other raids until Legion?

If only it applied to their inner demons.:pleading_face:

it’s no different from leveling any other races. you dont (or cant) really make use of that bonus to level quicker than other races. questing while being in queue for dungeon, doing bonus objectives and legion/bfa assaults, timewalking. same stuff, that bonus is extremely insignificant to make use of

It’s 20% killing xp against Demons.

That’s pretty significant.

it really isnt. not only exp from mobs in general is insignificant, you shouldnt be grinding mobs for exp because it’s insignificant. as i just said, extra 20% from those tiny exp is extremely insignificant. 99% of the content you are (or should be) doing to level a toon has almost nothing to do with killing demons. the most advantage you would get is probably legion (lvl100-110) content and even then, it’s barely going to make any difference, unnoticeable, especially for the rest of the content.

Doing some extra damage to a demon isn’t going to make you level that much faster.

Whats the optimal way to park my car?

Whats the optimal way to eat breakfast?

The meta mentality makes you sound like a robot.

It’s not extra damage, it’s bonus exp. We’ve had issues with extra damage racials in the past…
Trolls used to have 5% bonus damage on beasts, which is now also bonus exp (I don’t know what %?) but it was significant in ToT I remember which had a lot of Beast bosses.

Still… that’s not enough to be that significant. Just turn on Warmode and go to Bloodmyst.

You’re right, it’s not. Questing as normal is better exp/hour.

Nah. Experience from killing mobs is paltry compared to finishing quests and/or dungeons.

20% is not going to scratch that at all.

I think the idea was to find areas that have demons, and quests to kill demons, (like parts of Felwood) adding the 20% for the mobs on top of the quest rewards you are already getting.

So, where I mentioned Dire Maul and Maraudon, doing those dungeons, and the quests in them, might result in more net XP at the end than, say Deadmines at the same level.

I never said anything about grinding mobs.

A. Dungeon mobs give significant XP and
B. you do kill quite a bit of mobs WHILE questing

It’s 20% bonus to expiernce gained by killing Demons.

Already covered this later on.

That racial is terrible, like all LFD racials. Just level up as if it didn’t exist.
