What is the one class you will never play and/or found the worst to level?

All you OG champions and long-time players out there - I know you all have your favourites. But what is the one class you actively avoid or despise?

Could be for mechanics, lore, stigma, any reason really.

Just from viewing their gameplay and because I’m old; I think I would get sore wrists within minutes with all that jumping and gliding around.

I level one of each class to max each expansion, but my least favorite is rogue.

Been playing since TBC.

Have not been able to level a Shaman past level 10.

Ever.

I wouldn’t say they are bad, or that I will never play one, but I have never played a mage or hunter to level cap in any expansion. Everything else I have at 70+ though. Half my characters are prot warriors because I enjoy them lol.

I think so, so many people love it. But I have genuinely tried, for years… on all 3 specs. And it just doesn’t grab me. Always end up abandoning it.

The casters; Mage, Warlock and Priest have never been able to grab my interest in any iteration of WoW that I’ve played unfortunately.
Which is annoying because I really love the lore behind all three.

Rogue.

Only option is a Melee DPS, and needs by far the most levels under its belt to be fun.

From early impressions, rogue seems to be taking the cake on least enjoyable.

I have three of them because I keep wanting to give rogues a chance. I love stealth. I love the pick pocket spell. But all three specs feel unenjoyable in combat for me.

Yeah, the last time I thoroughly enjoyed rogue was probably Legion.

From SL onward it seemed to progressively get worse – at least for my liking.
Personally I just find it to be far too convoluted in comparison to what it use to be :person_shrugging:

Evoker… the whole class is just very poorly designed and way too finicky… I hate it… I’m still going to level 3 of them though… before DF I would have said I don’t have an entire class that I don’t like, but rather a few specs… and if you asked me before Legion my answer would have been Death Knight…

Same, I maxed mine just to have another legacy runner.

But they are in such an icky place. Last time I enjoyed my Rogue was BfA.

Demon Hunter and Paladin, DH because I refuse to play elves (If they ever open the class up to Orcs or Humans I may give it a try then.) Paladin because I refuse to have anything to do with anything remotely related a certain real world religion (But I won’t delve too much into that.)

i leveled up the ones i didn’t like so much during remix…so if you ever want to have a painless level up on a class you might not be as interested in, def participate in that event! you might even discover you actually do like the class (like i did with Hpal!)

That said, I just could never get into the evoker class or DK…wish they could mount in instances or something unique like that (think 4 horsemen or Rivendare), but the fantasy just doesn’t hit with them for me at all

I have never played druid and never will. I don’t care about game play, I just refuse to play a character who doesn’t look like the character I designed if they want to do anything.

Have to agree. Shaping into an animal unfortunately never appealed to me.
