What is the most optimal way to get riding training?

So in the patch doesn’t the riding skill costs therefore if we buy the 20g riding skill now on alts it will save us some gold correct? So 30g if we pre-buy riding skill on all alts versus 100g once prepatch hits?

Last chart I was going off of:

Current Mount Costs:

  • Riding skill (faction based, learned at level 40): 20 gold
  • Regular ground mount: 80 gold
  • Epic ground mount: 1000 gold

Future Mount Costs:

  • Apprentice riding skill (faction neutral, learned at level 40): 90 gold
  • Journeyman riding skill (learned at level 60): 900 gold
  • Regular ground mount: 10 gold
  • Epic ground mount: 100 gold

Yes the only true ‘gold save’ you get is if you buy the skill for 40 but not the mount. At 60 there’s no getting around it you aren’t getting the 60 riding skill unless you have a mount bought.

But with tbc, the overall cost of skill and mount at 60 goes down. I think from like 1k total at 60 with no rep to like 750ish(?) or something
