If guild has 2 tanks 4 healers they don’t want more apparently!

And I am fine in my roles! But I don’t want to wait hours to get into mythic keys anymore! I can’t take it.
I can’t do this bootlicking begging anymore. I want to be wanted. I can’t spend hours every day playing “RECRUITMENT SIMULATOR” anymore.

Then tank or healer are your best bet, with ranged meta dps after that. Even in BFA I don’t have any problem getting into a Mythic+ group as a healer in less than 5 minutes. Obv super high keys may take a little longer.

So even +15 keys for maximum weekly loots is 5 mins even?
That sounds ok to me… do guilds also want heals?

Guilds want ranged DPS most of the time. They almost never need tanks, healers are sometimes needed.

So I’m doomed to either be screwed and unwanted in guild.
Or 100% stuck to playing with guild and screwed if my guild is useless.
Just be good at your role and have all the gear from the raid you’re trying to do already and you’ll be in demand.

I just can’t win.
Warlock is fun but 3 dps specs means I can never fill.
Healers are ok but their DPS specs are about as fun as watching paint dry.
I just can’t win in this scenario heh.
New Shadow Priest is kinda fscking awesome, and Disc is A to S tier in both Raids and Mythic +.

This is all true, idk why but I just am not connecting to priest as much as I had hoped. It’s odd. There is no denying right now that it’s busted good though.
Maybe I should try and force myself to “just get over it” and do it. Idk why disc and shadow aren’t clicking as hard for me.
Different things for different folks. All a matter of what your priorities are. I’ve mained healers since vanilla, but this xpac I’m going DPS. As it stands right now I’m strongly considering Havoc. They are just too fun for me. I know doing this will make it significantly harder for me to get into Mythic+ groups, but I’d rather enjoy my time than play the meta and not enjoy it.

The truth is that Healers and Tanks play just the same as DPS. We’re all avoiding the puddles, we’re all dealing with being yelled at, we’re all prepping by watching YouTube.

Tanks are the lowest population, but raid teams typically have their 2 main tanks and don’t swap them out for others. Tanks are pretty permanent spots on the raid team, where DPS and sometimes healers will be swapped out depending.

What’s most in demand definitely differs between pugging M+, pugging raids, and recruiting for Mythic raiding guilds.
Warlocks aren’t in especially high demand for M+ since they’re DPS, but you can find a Mythic raiding guild as a Warlock more easily than most other classes (maybe any other class).
But people are right when they say that good players are in demand. If you’re a great player and you’re diligent about looking for a place to play, you can find people to play with.
I dont know about queue groups but I know most guilds seem to mostly be after range dps seems people have their tanks and healers set and too many melee so its range.
If you spent the time you use to spam the same question all day long here on leveling, you could have had all 3 roles a max already.
If you want to be able to join a guild easily but also pug content easily, play a ranged dps with a healing off-spec that you use for pugs.
