No no, he has a point. Paladin DOES have at least one ranged attack, theoretically making it a Ranged DPS.

Therefore, Worgen Frost Death Knight is my answer.

Most ranged specs have to stand and take punishment while they wait for their spells to complete. I have a few alts who are mages, locks, and the like. My favorite is hunter because I can move all over the place while Iā€™m firing. Plus petsā€¦ you must not forget pets. :wink:

BM hunter.

You can just run about and thereā€™s less limits on what you can do. Excellent solo ability, pretty great at farming, somewhat desirable in groups for Lust, just got a buff. Lots of ways to do ā€˜weirdā€™ things with Feign Death and their utility. Not even in competition with any other class for their weapons.

Lots of cosmetic options for pets until you realize that the best one is clefthoof for almost everything so itā€™s more a choice of ā€œwhich clefthoof do I want today?ā€ than ā€œdo I want to be a necromancer or a dragon tamer?ā€

Not a lot to hate here unless pets just isnā€™t your cup of tea.

I voted fire mage because having to remember an AOE rotation along with your single target rotation is annoying and your AOE/single target rotation are basically exactly the same

Evoker. Not biased, it justā€¦ Flows nicely and does big flashy numbers. My runner up is Warlock (all three specs) simply because they have very good visuals and varying levels of complexity and the best transmogs.

Iā€™m always surprised just how well frost mages can handle solo content. They feel like they should be too squishy to take on rares, but have great passive slows and good evasion/recovery tools to kite with on top of some heavy-hitting spells.

Demo warlock is the most fun for me, but itā€™s non-CD dmg is pretty sad.

It is not BM Hunter it gets boring very fast, especially if you like challenging classes or specs and so on to me the most fun range class is demonology nothing better than seeing 30 imps fly at your target
