You’d think it would be Nighshade but that isn’t the case on our AH. The one that always tops the price charts is marrowroot. I think the game probably needs more marrowroot nodes in Maldraxxus. Everything else falls under 30g most of the week and even Nightshade falls under 50g often enough that I don’t feel a big pinch. Marrowroot is always 70g or more.
Could also use more Widowbloom spawns…

Technically Wildvine at 1800g would be the most expensive herb here (not counting obvious troll ones like 15k for Twilight Jasmine Petal). If you mean SL herbs it looks like Nightshade at 40g (marrowroot is 31).
While wildvine can sometimes be gathered from purple lotus, I believe it mostly comes from monster drops. Also it’s a reagent to 13 non-alchemy items, and only 1 alchemy item. Seems more like an armor mat than potion mat.
If you are patient, purple lotus is the only reliable way to get wild vine.
Black lotus is the hardest and usually the most expensive herb. Spawns only in certain zones, only 1 per zone and once picked, one hour before respawn randomly somewhere else in that zone.
I remember spending alot of time up and down Felwood, so few purple lotuses, and I don’t think they always have wildvine. I suspect that one can get more wildvines / time mowing down trolls in certain zones. Ya black lotuses were hard to get, making flask limited in supply.
