Would that be a good idea? How would you feel when they do eventually add Timewalking for BfA in an expansion or two.
Even for 5k or 10k timewalking badges. Should they do that or no?

lol, certainly not for 5k or 10k badges - if for badges 500k is closer to the value.
And it is already available on the BMAH so it isn’t like it has been removed from the game.
It’s not on the BMAH anymore and Blizzard has been pretty silent on that.

It was silently removed from the BMAH rotation. Whether by bug or intent is unknown.

Apparently from what I read it was added to the container you get from the BMAH and has a chance to be in there. This was done in a hot fix on July 14th last year from what I read but since that it hasn’t appeared as a stand alone since then.
But they never stated that it was being taken off the rotation. They just said it could appear in the container.
And I don’t know if there have been any reports of people getting it from the container.
Nobody cares or makes a big deal about it because most people are poor, and I’m not saying that to be snarky.

Although, that could also be detecting players who were never scanned by DFA before or had their data removed due to Blizzard’s 30-day stale data API purge requirement.
Who knows, but the same few who always screamed “RNG get over it” won’t even defend it anymore.

As someone who did nothing but farm and sell mog for the last couple months of BFA to get the Boi, I’d be extremely pissed if they added it for a measly 5k time walking tokens.

yes well it is either a bug or they didn’t like people bidding gold max for it for reasons, but until they say otherwise I am going to count on it still being available from that source.

I would be mad as hell if I spent 5 million gold for Blizzard to put it on a vendor for TW tokens.

They should compromise and put a version of it with no AH vendor as the Timewalking mount. I’d love a dinosaur mount but a mobile AH is such a minor convenience that was never even remotely worth 5 million.

um…people like myself had paid 5M gold to get that mount. Adding to BFA vendor for TW badges would be insult for those who paid ton of gold.
Put this on the TW vendor:

Plenty of people who paid the gold think otherwise. I personally started using AH way more because of it and easily earned back the gold for the mount in the first couple weeks of SL.
That would be my guess. Now the 5 mil gold mount is 10 mil gold and in very limited quantities for a very short amount of time.
On the surface, it seems like a questionable business practice…
But if they really did add it to the random “loot” boxes, it’s even worse
