What is the meaning of WoW?

What is the meaning of WoW?

For me it’s the music, art, world building, and lore. Well back when the lore made sense.

What’s yours?

That is good! That is good.

Fun, but also…

WoW’s meaning can be whatever it is you want it to be. As long as it is something you want its meaning to be.

Which means that pizza is an objectively correct answer. Play WoW and eat pizza.

For me, it is the art, worldbuilding, lore, and identity(faction, race, and class).

Originally I might’ve said it was a believable simulated world, but they’ve heavily moved away from that with the monetization.

I think now it’s just an average MMO with a lot of sunk cost fallacy keeping vets around and virtually no new players coming in because the new player experience is putrid.

The meaning of WoW is World of Warcraft! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :rofl:

WoW = World of WoW

What is the meaning of World of WoW? :thinking:

This is the comment I was hoping for.

The meaning of WoW is either:

  • A freshly grown potato.
  • That one Gnome who wants to bring you some flowers.
  • Sorry, the person you’re dialing cannot answer the call. Please leave your name and number after the beep.
  • Or of course, 42.
