It took me 40 weeks of SoD between 3 warrior to get a T27 shield mog. That frustrated me all of season 2 and half way through season 3.
Remember it comes from the last boss not Mirmon himself. I spent years farming for it on the wrong boss.

I have 13x Thunderfury, yet the only character I actually care to have it on, my original main warrior, has had just one binding for ~13 years and has been consistently killing Garr nearly every week for 10+ years.

Ouch, I had a guildie who only killed Al’ar for a few weeks hoping for that mount. Luckily, once he found out it only took a couple of lockouts for him.

Probably the Voldunai rep ground mount Alabaster Hyena also could add unlocking Vulpera on top of that like second would be the reps related too Lightforged dranei and Void Elves which I did during like a 100% rep boost event if I remember correctly for the Runestrider and Lightforged Mech mounts as well as the allied races
The battletank mount from Archaeology , spent three expansions getting it . Still don’t have it and I have stopped trying.

Probably a couple weeks killing the timeless isle crab.
There really needs to be bad luck protection on mount drops. Either increasing the percentage by a miniscule amount each kill, or give players a currency each kill that with a large quantity will guarantee the drop

Few years back my husband and I got the flu at the same time, really bad one. So we camped time lost proto for a straight 9 days. Now that doesn’t sound so long, but we literally took turns sleeping/camping. We had 4 accounts up so we had all the spots covered. Pretty sure we dozed off at least once and missed a spawn but we did get it and it felt amazing.
Ashes of Alar. Five years of farming every week (except for the two months i had to unsub) and still i do not have it. Yes i know which one to kill to get it to possibly drop.
And sometime after i first started WoW i got that off a mob as a drop while i was questing. At the time i didn’t know you could get battle pets that way.
I have Invincible on the bars of every character I actually play.
I spent some-odd nine years getting it, you better bet I will use it at least once per log in for some unspecified duration.

Nalak’s mount. I still don’t have it but I do have 6 accounts with a combined 250+ toons. Since nalak’s release i would kill him on average 50 to 200 times per week plus bonus rolls. 9 years later and an estimated 60-80k kills and if you count bonus rolls its more like 120-140k mount chances and still nothing.
example of the amount of kills i have for mop world bosses. i got galleons mount, sha of angers mount and oondastas mount all within 1-3 months of each of their releases. thats how many kills i put in on them across my 250+ toons. but nalak he must be bugged for me.
Headless horsemans mount. Say like 5 years lol
2-3 years of ~5 alts farming Tempest Keep weekly for Ashes
10 years every single week I was playing (a month off here or there). I watched invincible drop for a friend and 9 years later, last week it finally dropped icc never again.
