What is the honor CAP per RANK each WEEK to get the highest rank possible? The question NO ONE answers.

Every forum post I’ve read about ranking to 14 will tell you how much time they think you need to invest to reach rank 14, or they will talk about the grind, or they will talk about how much honor you need each rank but neglect to mention how you need more honor than that to skip ranks, or a variety of other topics that never answers this one simple question…

What is the honor CAP per RANK each WEEK? A very simple question.

For instance I’m currently rank 2 with 70,000 honor. I’ve seen people say you can get up to 500k honor in Classic…does that mean I need another 430k honor in Anniversary this week to get the highest rank possible? Is the cap lower than 500k honor for someone that’s only Rank 2…like can I only get 50,000 honor and then I’m grinding for nothing because I’m past the cap? Who knows? I don’t. Is there a way I can see what my honor cap is per week at different ranks???

I would really appreciate it if someone can list the HONOR CAP per EACH RANK a week.

To much to list so I’ll just link you the only ranking calculator you will ever need.

Enter your present rank your present % within rank and if you are not level 60 also your level otherwise leave your level at 60 (default)

Does that tell you what the CAP is per each rank…or just how much honor you need to reach the next rank? I need the CAP not the amount of honor needed to reach the next rank.

Shows you cap VS your present progression, and also break evens for players who don’t push max caps per week.

The “Cap” is like 500k honor, but capping for the week won’t put you at max rank right away if that’s what youre asking.

Cap is variable per the rank, lower ranks do not need 500K honor at any point; it’s wasted effort

Just download Ranker addon it tells you everything right in the honor tab

i didn’t even pvp last week, i just killed the funny people who tried to kill me, and i only had 13k honor, i thought this won’t even give me rank 1 but i was surprised that on patch day i was rank 3.

wth getting rank 3 from just 13k honor? In classic 2019 getting i was getting ~200k per week and my bar wasn’t even moving lol.

Check out the calculator I linked and you can easily find your honor caps both min and max based on the pace you want to set.

They’ve implemented the SOD honor system, where you simply need certain honor breakpoints to progress, and decay no longer exists.

That was with the old honor system & it was competitive with how much other players no life pumped 1mil+ honor a week

That sounds like a tedious thing to do – to go through and calculate the max you can get starting from each rank. The reason that it’s not well-known information is because people interested in such efficiency wouldn’t start at rank 2 or rank 3.

On the very first week they would have hit the max rank 4, which is about 38k. And then they would know they need 110k to get to rank 7. And then 257k for rank 9. And so on…

Following an inefficient route is less well known because no one really ever uses that. You’re going to have to break out the calculator and calculate it out for yourself.

it turns out you just need to get on the board by getting 15 HKs to reach rank 1, but the threshold to reach rank 2 is so low that the same 15 HKs will give enough honor to reach rank 2.

the only way to reach rank 1 is to hit rank 2 and the get dishonorable kills 'til rank 1

Just download the ranker addon. The addon lists out the caps, and tells you what you need each week to hit the rank you are targeting.

i mean the hard cap is 500,000, but that’s over kill until you get to like rank 11

The cap is dependent on your current rank. If you are rank 0, then it would be 33,750 honor. If you are at rank 4 this week, then it would be 110,000 honor.

You stated that you are rank 2, if you was rank 2 at 0%, then your honor cap would be 45,000 honor and would hit rank 5 at 40%.

Use the ranker addon, please download it, it literally tells you exactly what you need.

There is a hard cap of 500,000 honor but you won’t hit this cap until around rank 11+
