I haven’t been keeping too up to date on the beta, but whenever I do check in I never hear anything about Bolvar or the other DKs. Has there been anything from them yet, whether in-game and testable or just datamined?
We know that Bolvar and the Ebon Blade play a big part in Revendreth storyline. That’s all I really know though. But, yes, Bolvar is going to pretty active this expac it seems.

We’ve seen Bolvar and some Death Knights go through to the Shadowlands near the start. Haven’t heard anything more than that.
I heard that Bolvar refuses to enter the Shadowlands at first because he thinks he’s controllable due to wearing the Crown of Domination. I’ve seen official art of him in Revendreth though, so I guess that passes.

I’d like him to have more than Illidan did in Legion. I was really disappointed by Illidan’s lack of overall screentime back then; like we brought him back and then he didn’t do anything. Bolvar better have more than that.
Bolvar seems to show up regularly in the overall story, from what I’ve seen on Wowhead. Darion Mograine and the Ebon Blade are around, they feature in the introduction scenario:
Darion also has at minimum a passing interaction with his father, Alexandros, as part of the Maldraxxus leveling story. There’s probably more between them, but that part of the story wasn’t included when the Maldraxxus storyline first went up on alpha, and I haven’t heard of it being added in since.

What else. Ether saving the World in their own way or probably challenging Death itself. However I do want to see Thassarian and Koltira again after not seeing them since legion.

Koltira has a stick up his rear and I have no idea why. I went to talk to him and he essentially told me to kick rocks.

Blizzard says that, but that’s why I made this thread: I haven’t heard a peep from him. For being “the Khadgar” he’s super absent.
It might be NYI.

Not all four zones’ questing experiences are done, let alone potential cross-zone content. Which, frankly, would be more likely to involve Bolvar than the campaigns contained to each Covenant. There’s not much reason to be dropping Bolvar in the middle of us unraveling the mysteries of what’s wrong in each respective realm. He’s more part of the expansion’s “meta” story than a necessary part of the more localized stuff.
If he’s “Shadowlands’ Khadgar” then it could well mean he’ll tie into some expansion-long storylines like the “Hunt for Gul’dan” stuff in WoD that started with level-locked zone quests that were tangential from the main leveling arcs, and then subsequently led into each new patch’s instanced content as part of acquiring the Legendary ring.
Could even be a “Hunt for Sylvanas” type thing. Frankly a lot of what’s implemented so far leans heavily into the idea of how we’ll eventually be going after the Jailer and putting a stop to his plans, but for all the talk of the Banshee Queen pertaining to Tyrande’s vendetta, unless I’ve missed something there doesn’t yet seem to be a lot of solid, practical questing that actually zeroes in on us chasing down Sylvanas herself. That strikes me as the sort of thing that could probably involved Bolvar, and that wouldn’t necessarily be anchored directly into the leveling or the Covenant experience.
