So, I didn’t play most Dragonflight and only now returned to the game… I’m a bit confused on how I’m supposed to get this right now:
Or any of the skins, really (except the BoE lookalike one, because it’s VERY expensive in the AH). I think it has to do with upgrading gear until you get the tier, but I’m not sure what exactly to put in that Revival Catalyst machine to get this out.

Okay, so the easiest way is probably to get a helmet from doing the (piss easy) Dreamsurge quest to collect 100 essences and getting the token and using it to get the plate helm.
My only concern is, I’m not sure if upgrading the the items makes them tick over anymore, or if they can be upgraded at all now. On the upshot, for Death Knights at least, the LFR skin is much nicer: its silver and red, looks awesome.

There’s also, if grinding rep is your thing, a vendor in the Emerald Dream who sells a helm at like renown 15 or so. That can be run through the catalyst as well.
Yeah, saw that… but I’m just 7 right now lol. I wonder how long it takes to get to 14.
Longer than you’d like, but faster than you’d think. I ground out most of them during DF and near the end there was like a 50% boost to gains. Went a little nuts.
EDIT: its also important to remember that renown in Dragonflight is account wide. So you can repeat quests that offer renown across your alts to make the gains quicker.
