I have heard that they do pretty big damage but have little to no defensives, is that true? If it is true, whay horde racials, would be best to use as a defensive? Tauren with stomp?
The biggest weakness of enhancement shaman is that they’re not spec’d elemental.

Enhance is the spec embodiment of RNG.
When everything keeps proccing you melt faces, but when nothing procs your only use is grounding totem.
They addressed some of the survivability concerns by letting surge draw off maelstrom vs mana when it procs, but more needs to be done if its expectrd to be in the thick of things.
The elemental enhancement build is reliable burst damage on a relatively short cooldown, however. The only RNG is it’s chance to crit. It’s great for killing high value targets, but struggles with survivability. The healing pvp talent can make them a bit tanky though. But, I’m all about the meme kills.
Enhance weakness is enhance draw attention of both teams, all enemy targets you and your teammates hates you, even healer

Lots of truth to this. Specs perceived to be weak, whether weak or not, draw focused damage from the enemy team turning it into a self-fulfilling prophecy. Meanwhile, your healers might think that you aren’t worth trying to save since you are perceived to die so easily.
Enhance probably has the worst cc kit of any melee in the game. To be fair it’s always had this but at least used to be a bit of a tanky high damage brawler. Now it’s kind of high damage and nothing else. Every other melee just brings more in every category (mobility, cc, survival, even dam and utility).
It can kinda do everything, just a little bit worse than everyone else.
enhance weakness is it can be kited pretty easy. Its biggest weakness in arena is that its squishy and self healing doesn’t work well in dampening but in Bgs there is no dampening so honestly i dont think enhance is that squishy. I think it makes for a great roamer spec especially with the forever underrated stormweaver talent, you can out sustain almost anything.
Trying to chase people and hit them with lightning and fire stuff instead of just throwing lightning and fire stuff at them from far away.
