ST in pve is sub and outlaw is ahead in aoe situations. Pvp ive seen some good outlaws but sub imo is out performing by quite a bit.
Most rogues are raiding as outlaw because outlaw
Is only slightly behind sub in st and miles ahead in cleave.
Sub is the best pvp spec.
Most rogues are going nightfae for both due to the strength of the soulbinds.
so where does assass stand?
It’s the lowest simming dps in all content rogue wise. (It will possibly overtake and become default in a tier or two)
Pvp it’s ok in twos with a healer and that’s about it.
so down on paper Sub is the best to go all around?
No outlaw is for pve content and sub is for pvp content.
Like Snoz said, Outlaw for PvE and Sub for PvP. The best way to be the best all-arounder is to learn both.
Outlaw is a very fun AoE turret in PvE, and Sub is a great hit and runner in PvP. It’s fairly easy to gear for both Specs as Versatility is top stat for both specs. Outlaw needs around 300-400 Haste, but after that Crit takes priority as 2nd best stat. Sub is Vers and Crit, then Haste.
Either way, just have fun with it.

I’ll take your word for it. You PvP more than I do. I’ve just been going off of WoW Head’s guide. Though I know IcyVeins Goes Vers, Mastery, Crit, Haste.

Kyrian is top now for pve but once we get to max renown night fae takes over.
