What is the best ranged class for soloing torgast?

Warlocks are extremely solid.

We’ve got a ton of strong (albeit boring) powers for Torghast and our kit naturally lends itself to solo content.

I’ve also heard good things about Spriest in Torghast.

The only power I’ve ever “needed” in Torghast is the Corruption slow one. And it’s a common, so you can usually pick it up for like 65 phantasm.

If you’re struggling in Torghast, powers make it easy. But they don’t make or break a run like they do in other Roguelikes.

The best bet is shadow priest, warlock, or hunter. They can either heal and the pets can tank.

I went through without choosing any anima on my MM hunter, and I cleared it no problem

BM hunter is super easy to solo torghast with. So far the only real deaths i have is from being stupid and walking into traps or getting edgerunner and running off something which which isnt a class problem.

Considering several specs have cleared layer 3 with 0 powers

as a boomkin, I got through the first 3 levels before realizing it was a group thing

its not a group thing… thankfully for now until more gear its tough through layer 3-4 as boomkin… though i imagine better players than me are doing ok. Grouping can cause it to become harder due to scaling.

any ranged class that can also tank… ie hunter BM should do just fine in Torg…
