what is the best DPS class for raid bosses
Too early to tell. Ask after the Beta has run for a few weeks.
Then that will change after each tuning pass. Then something will be ridiculously OP on release, but nerfed at the next reset. Play what you want. There will probably be a ton of evokers because they’re new and shiny (and that’s what has happened with every new class in the expansion they were released). They will probably be OP at the start, and nobody is going to know how to play them.

I’m on Beta. I have to say, I hate the Evokers as they are, and a lot of other people are disappointed with them. This expansion may be an exception. I personally like Preservation, but that’s just me. Most people are disappointed.

Golden rule.
If you have to ask, its not relevant to you.
If you need to be playing something thats meta on paper, pick a pure DPS class.
Three DPS specs = higher odds one of the sheep specs is on your class.
Warlocks have been, since the release of the game, represented as a DPS outlier (far above the median DPS) more than any other class.
